Taylor Hermann

Owner & CEO

Taylor Hermann is the CEO of TSH Design & Development Corporation and serves as a Primary Building
Consultant as well as a Builder’s Represenative. Taylor has been Owner & CEO of his corporations for fourteen years. Prior to founding his company, Taylor held a few very important and complex jobs. Upon graduating from Stony Brook University with a BS in Architecture and Engineering, Taylor went to work for JP Morgan & Co.’s Investment Bank, whilst going to night school to achieve a MS in Finance and an MS in Accounting. While at JP Morgan, Taylor was selected as one of the top recruits and sent to the investment banks program in London wherein he was then tasked with re-vamping the way that Credit Derivative
Contracts were valued. Taylor then went on to co-invent the Credit Derivative Index trade, more
commonly known as the JPM CDX NA IG.1. Taylor then went on to do a similar thing at HSBC PLLC,
where he was based in London for two years as VP. He helped create more complex instruments for
HSBC, such as the CDO, ABS, ABX and anything else structured in nature. Taylor gained a strong feeling
about the potential downside risk of unknown exposure; specifically counterparty risk. He was
responsible for HSBC’ extrication of all MBS products from the balance sheet- which turned out to be
quite a ‘timely’ maneuver. He finished his I-Banking career at Deutsche Bank as a Structured Credit
Analyst and SVP.

Taylor started his building career at a very young age. His family had been building in the Hamptons on
Long Island, NY since the 1930’s. At the age of 30, Taylor went back to his home town and started his
own company. This company became quickly unique through the use of computer modeling residential
and commercial projects, using such things as VR glasses and VR rooms to give the potential buyer, or
client a realistic spatial orientation of the project-at-hand. Taylor averaged nine new residential homes
and six-to-ten entire space (commercial and residential) renovations, per year.
As an investor, builder, builder’s rep, designer, architect and engineer, coupled with Taylor’s prior
financial background, he was able to bring in an average rate-of-return of 158%.

Taylor also served four years in the U.S. Army as a Warrant Officer of Special Forces. The experience of
Army Special Forces has proven to be a major player when he is “on-site’.
